Mr. Popper's Penguins, opening June 17, 2011, is a story of a businessman ( Jim Carrey ) whose life begins to change after he inherits six penguins, and as he transforms his apartment into a winter wonderland, his professional side starts to unravel. Parts of New York City was transformed into a winter wonderland during their shoot in the Fall and Winter of 2010. The movie also stars Carla Gugino, Phillip Baker Hall and Angela Lansbury.
