House of D

Robin Williams shoots a scene of House of D in Central Park

House of D shot in New York City from September – November 2003, employing 75 New York City cast and crew members, and released in theatres on April 15, 2005. The film tells the story of an artist working abroad who returns home to his family and friends.

The film is native New Yorker David Duchovny’s directorial debut. His NYC credits also include Trust the Man and Zoolander.

Producer Jane Rosenthal is also a strong supporter of NYC’s film industry and brought the Tribeca Film Festival to the City. Her NYC credits include Analyze That, Flawless and A Bronx Tale.

Robin Williams recently shot the film Night Listener in NYC.

Actress Tea Leoni also shot People I Know, Hollywood Ending and Switch in NYC. She recently told NY1 News, “I love shooting in New York. If I only shot in New York from here on in, I'd be happy."
