The Forgotten

The Forgotten released in theatres on September 24, 2004. The movie shot exclusively in New York City for 56 days from October 2003- January 2004, employing 100 cast and crew members. The Forgotten made extensive use of DUMBO, Brooklyn for night shots of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges and received assistance from the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting for scenes including a complicated car chase.

The film’s stars are not new to New York City:
Julianne Moore filmed The Hours and Laws of Attraction in NYC.
Gary Sinise was recently in town shooting CSI: NY.
Alfre Woodard filmed K-PAX in the Big Apple.
Director Joseph Ruben shot Return to Paradise and Money Train in NYC.
