Eat Pray Love, based on the best-selling memoir by
Elizabeth Gilbert, opened in theatres on August 13, 2010. Julia Roberts stars as
a woman, recently divorced, who goes on a journey of self discovery, visiting
Italy, India and Bali. Directed by Ryan Murphy and adapted by Murphy and
Jennifer Salt, the film also stars Billy Crudup, James Franco, Richard Jenkins,
Javier Bardem and Viola Davis.
While the film shot on location around the
world, many scenes were set in New York, and the interior scenes were shot on
stages in the City. Among the locations used in the film are:
