“Boardwalk Empire,” the new show from “The Sopranos”
writer-producer Terence Winter, premiered on September 19 and chronicles crime,
politics and the high life in Prohibition-era Atlantic City. HBO’s epic drama
depicts southern New Jersey but was filmed in New York City. The pilot episode,
directed by film legend Martin Scorsese, features shots from the following
