
Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg shoots a scene for an episode of The Apprentice 2 with contestants at Gracie Mansion
NBC’s reality show The Apprentice has been shooting in New York since 2003 and was followed by The Apprentice 2 which began shooting in the summer of 2004.
Series creator Mark Burnett also co-created NBC’s The Restaurant, which was shot in NYC.
In October 2004, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg made a surprise appearance on the show, when winning contestants were invited to Gracie Mansion as part of a reward.
