FDNY Receives $50K Check from Con Edison

The FDNY Foundation received a $50,000 check from Con Edison to purchase new gas detectors for every ladder company in the Department.

Assistant Chief of Operations Robert Sweeney gratefully accepted the check on behalf of the FDNY at the annual Fire Chiefs Association meeting at the Con Edison Learning Center in Long Island City, Queens, on May 1.
