The FDNY's 42-member Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team, part of NY Task Force 1, was honored at the gala event. The team's leader, Chief Joe Downey, stands with Fire Commissioner Salvatore Cassano and Chief of Department Edward Kilduff to receive the award.
