FDNY Makes 25 Bureau of Fire Prevention (FDNY) Inspection Requests Available Through 311 Online Effective Immediately
311 Online is New York City's Web site for government information and non-emergency services. 311 Online now features requests for 25 Bureau of Fire Prevention inspections in addition to helping you to get information, report problems, and request services. To access 311 Online and request an FDNY inspection, please go to 311 Online. Inspection requests will not be accepted by the 311 call center.
If you request an inspection on 311 Online, you will receive a confirmation page and an email with a service request number. The service request number can be used to track the progress of your request to the 311 Online website. After you make the request, the Bureau of Fire Prevention will contact you to let you know when the inspection will take place. Every request comes with a service level agreement, which is a guarantee of when you can expect the Bureau of Fire Prevention to contact you.
