St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The families of our fallen members are welcome to march with the FDNY during the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Those wishing to march are invited to join the line-up on 47th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, near the “Families of the Fallen” banner, at 11:00 am. Ceremonial Unit staff will be on hand to direct people and staff. They can be identified by a white braid on the right shoulder of their dress uniforms.

9-11 Father Mychal F. Judge Walk of Remembrance

Catholic Mass will be celebrated in memory of Father Judge at the Church of
St. Francis of Assisi (135 West 31st Street - between 6th - 7th Avenues), directly across from E-1/L -24. After the mass, the walk will commence, and it will end with a memorial service at the FDNY Tribute Wall at E-10/L-10.
Candlelight and Remembrance Ceremony

A Sunset Candlelight and Remembrance Ceremony will take place Monday, September 8th at the 9/11 Memorial in Eisenhower Park. The ceremony will include a reading of the names of Nassau County residents who lost their lives in the attacks and the names will be read by family members.

There will be a candlelight memorial service honoring the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. All are welcome to attend.
9/11 National Museum and Memorial

The museum is inviting 9/11 family members, 9/11 rescue and recovery workers, active duty first responders, 9/11 survivors, and lower Manhattan residents and business owners to visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum for free from 5:00 p.m. to close on September 10th. If you are a member of one of these groups, you may reserve your free ticket(s) to visit the Museum at 911memorial.org/September10 or by calling (212) 266-5211. Due to limited availability, advance reservations are strongly encouraged.

World Trade Center Memorial Plaza, Manhattan
This year's event will take place on the WTC Memorial plaza. The invitation and/or letter families received from the museum, P or T numbers, or Memorial Park identification cards will serve as credential for admittance to the ceremony. Families will be able to enter the Memorial plaza beginning at 7 a.m. and can access the Museum beginning at 7:30 a.m. The last entry will be at 7 p.m. Due to capacity constraints in the Museum, advance reservations are strongly encouraged. Tickets to the Museum are free for family members and each member must have a ticket to be admitted to the Museum.
