Saturday, December 27, 2003 - Manhattan, NY

On Saturday, December 27, 2003 at 1300 hours, there will be a street renaming ceremony honoring the memory of Firefighter Kevin Bracken, Engine Company 40. The ceremony will take place at the corner of West 73rd Street and Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect to the deceased. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.

Saturday, November 22, 2003 - Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY

On Saturday, November 22, 2003 at 1100 hours, there will be a street renaming dedication in the memory of Lieutenant Andrew Desperito, E-1. The ceremony will take place at the intersection of Monitor Street and Meeker Avenue, Greenpoint, Brooklyn, N.Y. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect to the deceased. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.

Saturday, November 22, 2003 - Whitestone, NY

On Saturday, November 22, 2003 at 1100 hours, there will be a street renaming dedication in the memory of Firefighter Carl F. Asaro, B-9. The ceremony will take place at 147th Street and Willets Point Blvd., Whitestone, Queens, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect to the deceased. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.

Saturday, November 15, 2003 - Franklin Square, NY

On Saturday, November 15, 2003 at 1030 hours, there will be a street renaming dedication in the memory of Firefighter Robert Evans, E-33. The ceremony will take place at the corner of Naple Avenue and Jefferson Street, Franklin Square, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect to the deceased. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.

Saturday, November 1, 2003 - Roslyn Heights, NY

On Saturday, November 1st, 2003 at 1600 hours, there will be a street renaming dedication in the memory of Firefighter Peter Langone, Squad 252 and P.O. Thomas Langone, NYPD, both of whom made the supreme sacrifice on September 11, 2001. The ceremony will take place at the Roslyn Rescue Volunteer Firehouse located at Mineola Avenue and Maple Street, Roslyn Heights, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect to the deceased. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.

On Saturday, November 1st, 2003 at 1000 hours, there will be a street renaming dedication in the memory of Captain Timothy M. Stackpole, L-103. The ceremony will take place on the corner of East 34th Street and Avenue R, Brooklyn, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect to the deceased. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.

Sunday October 26, 2003 - Rockaway, Queens, NY

On Sunday, October 26, 2003 at 1300 hours, there will be a street renaming dedication in the memory of Captain Walter G. Hynes, L-13. The ceremony will take place on Beach 93rd Street and Shore Front Parkway, Rockaway, Queens. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect to the deceased. On Saturday, October 25, 2003 at 1300 hours, there will be a street renaming ceremony honoring the memory of Chief Gerard A. Barbara, Bureau of Operations. The ceremony will take place at the intersection of Martling Avenue and Slosson Avenue, Staten Island, NY. The ceremony will take place at the intersection of Comber Street and Wheeler Avenue, Valley Stream, NY. Sunday October 19, 2003 - Corona, Queens, NY

On Sunday, October 19, 2003, at 1200 hours, there will be a street renaming ceremony for Firefighter James Pappageorge, E-23, at the corner of 38th Avenue and 98th Street, Corona, Queens. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
