Integro Insurance Brokers, the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and the Gramercy Park Block Association have partnered to award a $5,600 grant to the FDNY on Thursday, May 16, 1:30 p.m. at the Quarters of Ladder Company 3 at 108 East 13th Street in Manhattan.   The grant brings funds to Ladder Company 3 for the purchase of rescue simulation equipment, fitness equipment and additional tools.

“Firefighting is a dangerous job, which requires our members to train daily and be in top physical shape in order to effectively respond and operate,” said Commissioner Salvatore J. Cassano.  “This generous grant helps make certain our members have the best tools and equipment possible to execute that training.”

Since December 2006, Fireman’s Fund has awarded the FDNY over half a million dollars.
