FDNY EMERALD SOCIETY PIPES AND DRUMS CELEBRATES 50TH ANNIVERSARY
The FDNY Emerald Society Pipes and Drums will celebrate their 50th Anniversary on Saturday, September 15, at 6:30 p.m., at Citi Field in Queens. Current, former and founding members of the band will be in attendance.
The FDNY Emerald Society Pipes and Drums performs at every FDNY funeral and plaque dedication; leads the FDNY in the St. Patrick's Day Parade; and performs at hundreds of additional FDNY events every year.
