FDNY UNVEILS MEMORIAL WALL FOR DEATHS RELATED TO WORLD TRADE CENTER ILLNESSES

The FDNY will unveil a Memorial Wall for 55 FDNY members who have died of illnesses related to their work at the World Trade Center during and after the September 11th attacks at FDNY Headquarters on Thursday, September 8, at 4 p.m. Individual names of FDNY members who have died since September 11th are listed on the Memorial Wall.

"Many FDNY members, both active and retired, who selflessly rushed in to help others and then returned to the World Trade Center site to bring back those that were lost, suffer now from many illnesses, including cancer," said Fire Commissioner Salvatore J.
