CEREMONY FOR 24 EMS OFFICERS

Fire Commissioner Salvatore J. Cassano will preside over a promotion ceremony for 24 FDNY Emergency Medical Service officers at 2 p.m.on Monday, May 16 in the auditorium at FDNY Headquarters, 9 MetroTech Center, in Brooklyn.

"In fact, a few hours after our promotion ceremony, the Empire State Building will light up in yellow, white and blue in honor of EMS Week. That's a fitting tribute to the accomplishments of these newly-promoted officers and all the other members of EMS who work so hard for our city every day."
