FIRE COMMISSIONER CASSANO PRESIDES AT GRADUATION
CEREMONY FOR 18 NEW PARAMEDICS
Fire Commissioner Salvatore J. Cassano will preside over a graduation ceremony at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 14 at FDNY Headquarters for 18 Paramedics of the FDNY Emergency Medical Service.
“Our newest Paramedics are about to begin a very tough, but very rewarding job. They’ll be working for the very best Emergency Medical Service anywhere in the world - one that responded to more than 1.2 million calls last year alone,” Commissioner Cassano said. “We know they will work hard to uphold the traditions of the FDNY.”
Among the diverse group of graduates, seven different languages are spoken, including Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, Haitian Creole, French Creole and Russian.
