FDNY RECEIVES $5,250 GRANT FOR EXERCISE
EQUIPMENT
AND AUTO LOCKSMITH TOOLS
Brooks Insurance Agency and the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company have partnered to award a $5,250 grant to the FDNY on Wednesday, February 9, 10:30 a.m. at the quarters of Engine 279/Ladder 131 in Brooklyn for the purchase of exercise equipment to enhance the training of its members and locksmith tools to assist with automobile related emergencies.
“For many years the Fireman’s Fund has been a great friend to the Department,” said Fire Commissioner Salvatore J. Cassano. “This donation is just the latest example of how their grants help support the FDNY by improving the training and exercise equipment our members have access to on a daily basis.”
Since December 2006, Fireman’s Fund has awarded the FDNY over $450,000.
