MAYOR BLOOMBERG AND FIRE COMMISSIONER CASSANO TO PRESIDE AT ANNUAL FDNY MEDAL DAY CEREMONY
Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and Fire Commissioner Salvatore J. Cassano will preside at the annual FDNY Medal Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2 on the steps of City Hall. The event will honor 26 Firefighters, 11 Fire Officers, one Fire Marshal Task Force, two Fire Companies, one Marine Company, two Emergency Medical Technicians, five Paramedics, five EMS Officers and one Medical Director for acts of bravery and heroism at emergency scenes throughout the city.
