FIRE COMMISSIONER SCOPPETTA TO PRESIDE AT PROMOTION
CEREMONY FOR 21 MEMBERS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta will preside over a promotion ceremony tomorrow for 21 members of the FDNY. One EMS member will be elevated to the rank of Division Chief, four members to the rank of Battalion Chief, one EMS member to the rank of Captain and 15 firefighters to the rank of Lieutenant. One member also will be promoted to the rank of Provisional Marine Engineer.
All of the newly promoted members will be assigned to various units throughout the City.
