FIRE COMMISSIONER SCOPPETTA TO PRESIDE AT PROMOTION
CEREMONY FOR 26 MEMBERS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta will preside over a promotion ceremony tomorrow for 26 members of the FDNY. One member will be promoted to the rank of Deputy Fire Commissioner, one EMS member to the rank of Deputy Assistant Chief, one EMS member to the rank of Division Chief, one EMS member to the rank of Deputy Chief, seven EMS members to the rank of Captain and 15 firefighters elevated to the rank of Lieutenant. The newly promoted members will be assigned to various units throughout the City.
