FIRE COMMISSIONER SCOPPETTA TO PRESIDE AT PROMOTION
CEREMONY FOR 41 FIRE DEPARTMENT MEMBERS
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta will preside at a promotion ceremony tomorrow for 41 members of the New York City Fire Department. Five members will be elevated to the rank of Captain, 15 to the rank of Lieutenant and 20 EMS members to the rank of Lieutenant. One member will be promoted to the rank of Supervising Fire Marshal.
The newly promoted members will be assigned to various units across the City.
