FDNY TO CELEBRATE THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY
OF LADDER COMPANY 123
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta and Chief of Department Salvatore J. Cassano will join the officers and members of Ladder Company 123 in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn tomorrow as they celebrate 100 years of dedicated service to the community and the City. Former members also are expected to attend the ceremony.
The firehouse, which is considered one of the busiest in New York City, has earned a total of 27 Department medals and 25 unit citations.
