FIRE COMMISSIONER SCOPPETTA TO OFFICIATE AT PROMOTIONAL CEREMONY FOR 78 FIRE DEPARTMENT MEMBERS
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta tomorrow will preside over a promotional ceremony for 78 members of the New York City Fire Department. The ceremony will include the promotion of 22 Captains, 45 Lieutenants, eight Supervising Fire Marshals, one Marine Engineer, along with one Provisional Marine Engineer and one Provisional Wiper. The newly promoted members will be assigned to various units citywide.
