FDNY TO CELEBRATE THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY
OF LADDER COMPANY 35
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta and Chief of Department Salvatore J. Cassano will join the officers and members of Ladder Company 35 on the Upper West Side of Manhattan tomorrow as they celebrate 100 years of dedicated service to the community and the City. Former members also are expected to attend the ceremony.
On September 11, 2001, Ladder Company 35 lost five members, and Engine Company 40, which is located in the same firehouse, lost six members.
