FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR FIREFIGHTER
JOSEPH GRAFFAGNINO OF LADDER COMPANY 5

Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta will join family, friends and Fire Department members in paying their final respects to Firefighter Joseph Graffagnino of Ladder Company 5.  Firefighter Graffagnino, 33, was fatally injured while operating at a seven-alarm fire in the Deutsche Bank Building in Manhattan on August 18. He was transported to NY Downtown Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Firefighter Graffagnino was appointed to the FDNY on May 9, 1999.
