TWO FDNY FIREHOUSES TO RECEIVE STATE-OF-THE-ART
FITNESS EQUIPTMENT AND TRAINING PACKAGE

HUB International Northeast Limited and Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company will award more than $17,000 in state-of-the-art physical fitness equipment tomorrow to two FDNY firehouses in the Bronx. The new equipment will give firefighters at Engine Company 75 / Ladder Company 33 and Ladder Company 19 more opportunities to incorporate high-quality training into their firehouse regimen.

Maintaining physical fitness is crucial to the dangerous work of firefighters, and this donation will allow them to perform their duties more efficiently. Grant funds for Engine Company 75 / Ladder Company 33 will also be earmarked for a technology training package to be utilized for FEMA-sponsored programs and presentations.

The grant package is part of a program, funded by the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, which is designed to provide equipment, training and educational tools to fire departments nationwide.
