FIRE COMMISSIONER SCOPPETTA TO PRESIDE AT PROMOTIONAL CEREMONY FOR 77 MEMBERS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta will preside over a promotional ceremony tomorrow for 77 members of the FDNY. Four members will be elevated to the rank of Battalion Chief, 41 members to the rank of Captain and 15 members to the rank of Lieutenant. Seventeen members also will be promoted to the rank of Fire Marshal.
The newly promoted members will be assigned to various units throughout the City.
