FIRE COMMISSIONER NICHOLAS SCOPPETTA
DEDICATES PLAQUE IN MEMORY OF
FALLEN EMS LIEUTENANT BRENDAN PEARSON

On Monday, April 24, 2006 Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta will join Fire Department EMT’s and paramedics to unveil a plaque honoring the memory of fallen EMS Lieutenant Brendan Pearson of EMS Station 23 in Staten Island.  Pearson died on April 23, 2005, as a result of injuries sustained while in the line of duty. A plaque in his honor will be unveiled at the quarters of EMS Station 23/Engine 168 where Pearson was assigned.

Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta, friends and family of FDNY-EMS Lieutenant Brendan Pearson and many members of the New York City Fire Department’s EMS Command.

Quarters of EMS Station 23/Engine 168 at 1100 Rossville Avenue, Staten Island, N.Y.
