NEW EMS STATION IN SPRINGFIELD GARDENS
New facility will help to alleviate overcrowding at Queens General Hospital facility as well as help to increase in service times while reducing response times in Southeastern Queens
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta will join members of the Fire Department’s EMS Command at a ribbon-cutting ceremony officially opening a newly constructed facility for EMS Station 54 in the Springfield Gardens community of Queens. The state-of-the-art 6,000 square foot station is located at 222-15 Merrick Boulevard and will serve the communities of Springfield Gardens, Rosedale, Laurelton, Brookville, Cambria Heights, and St. Albans.
