BRONX FIRE COMPANIES CELEBRATE 100 YEARS OF SERVICE
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta tomorrow will join the Officers and members of Engine Company 83 and Ladder Company 29 in the Bronx as they celebrate 100 years of dedicated service to the community. In honor of their centennial a commemorative plaque will be unveiled. Engine 83 and Ladder 29 were organized in their current location on February 1, 1906.
