PRESIDES AT GRADUATION CEREMONY FOR 75 NEW
EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS AND 15 NEW PARAMEDICS
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta will preside at a graduation ceremony for 75 new FDNY Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) and 15 new Paramedics. The new EMTs have successfully completed a rigorous 8½-week training program that has prepared them for the many challenges that await them in their new careers. The Paramedics have completed the Department’s Paramedic Upgrade Program and will be assigned to Advanced Life Support ambulances throughout the city.
