FIRE COMMISSIONER NICHOLAS SCOPPETTA TO OFFICIATE AT PROMOTIONAL CEREMONY FOR
38 MEMBERS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
New York City Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta tomorrow will preside over a promotional ceremony for 38 members of the Fire Department. Four members will be elevated to the rank of Deputy Chief, nine to the rank of Battalion Chief, 10 to the rank of Captain and 15 to the rank of Lieutenant.
The newly promoted officers will be assigned to various units citywide. The ceremony will be held at the Fire Department’s Training Academy on Randall’s Island .
