MEMBERS OF ENGINE 60 AND LADDER 17 DELIVERED A BABY GIRL

Today shortly before noon members of Engine 60 and Ladder 17 delivered a baby girl in the hallway at 371 East 138 Street in the Bronx. Just moments after arriving on scene, firefighters realized that there was not enough time to transport the 35 year old mother to the hospital, so roughly around 11:45AM firefighters along with EMS delivered the baby girl in the hallway of the Bronx apartment building.

Members of Engine 60 and Ladder 17 are available to talk with anyone who is interested in hearing more about their story.
