Members of Ladder Company 138 today will be reunited with the three young girls they rescued from a second-alarm fire in Jackson Heights, Queens in December 2004. In total, 16 civilians were rescued from this blaze. Members of Ladder 138 raised money and purchased gifts for the young girls who lost both their parents in this tragic fire. The girls, whose ages range from 7 to 3-years-old, suffered severe burns and other critical injuries.
