FIRE COMMISSIONER NICHOLAS SCOPPETTA
TO OFFICIATE AT PROMOTIONAL CEREMONY FOR
27 MEMBERS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
Promotional class includes Firefighter Gregg Magi currently on military leave in Iraq with the Air National Guard. Also being promoted is Firefighter Anna Schermerhorn-Collins, President of the United Women Firefighters Association.
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta tomorrow will preside over a promotional ceremony for 27 members of the New York City Fire Department. The ceremony will include the promotion of 11 Captains and 16 Lieutenants, including Firefighter Anna Schermerhorn-Collins, President of the United Women Firefighters Association. Also being promoted is Firefighter Gregg Magi who is currently on military leave in Iraq with the 105th Civil Engineer Squadron of the Air National Guard. The newly promoted officers will be assigned to various divisions throughout the city. The ceremony will be held at the Fire Department’s Headquarters.
