FDNY UNVEILS 2006 CALENDAR OF HEROES
The New York City Fire Department and the Fire Safety Education Fund will unveil the highly anticipated 2006, New York City Fire Department Calendar of Heroes on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Duffy Square/Times Square. All 13 of the firefighters featured in this year’s calendar will be on hand to autograph copies of the calendar as well as to speak with the media.
Proceeds from the sale of the 2006 Calendar of Heroes will benefit the Fire Department’s Fire Safety Education Fund (FSEF). The Fund supports the mission of the Fire Department through a variety of programs including The Fire Zone, the mobile fire safety houses, Hot Dog –the fire safety dog—as well as many other programs that encourage fire safety among children and adults.
