ATTENDS CEREMONY DEDICATING PLAQUE IN HONOR OF
FIREFIGHTER VINCENT SAVINO
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta will join the members
of Engine Company 289 and Ladder 138 in Corona Queens tomorrow
at 11:00 AM, as they dedicate a plaque in honor of Firefighter
Vincent Savino. Firefighter Savino, 29 of St. James, N.Y.
died on February 2, 2004, after the ATV he was driving collided
with a car. Savino’s family and friends will also be
on hand for the ceremony to honor his memory.
