FIRE COMMISSIONER NICHOLAS SCOPPETTA TO PRESIDE AT PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR 30 FIRE LIEUTENANTS
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta tomorrow will preside over a promotional ceremony for 30 members of the New York City Fire Department. The 30 firefighters will all be promoted to the rank of lieutenant and assume a new leadership role within the department. The newly promoted members will be joined by hundreds of their fellow firefighters and family members at the ceremony.
