MEDIA ADVISORY:
FDNY Ladder Company 13 and Santa Claus to pay a visit to NY
Presbyterian Hospital’s Pediatric Unit and Burn Center
Members of FDNY Ladder Company 13 tomorrow
will be at NY Presbyterian Hospital to bring some well-needed
Christmas cheer to the children that will be spending the
holidays in the hospital’s Pediatric Unit and Burn Center.
The company will act as “Santa’s Sleigh,”
by chauffeuring St. Nick to the hospital, placing him in the
Tower Ladder, and following as he visits the children of the
hospital. Members of the Fire Company will accompany him inside
the building where they will visit the children and distribute
gifts. Members of the FDNY have been visiting the children
of NY Presbyterian for the last 18 years during the holidays,
and will continue the tradition for many years to come.
