FIRE COMMISSIONER NICHOLAS SCOPPETTA
TO OFFICIATE AT PROMOTIONAL CEREMONY FOR 41 MEMBERS OF THE
NEW YORK CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT
Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta tomorrow
will preside over a promotional ceremony for 41 members of
the New York City Fire Department. The ceremony will include
the promotion of seven captains, 31 lieutenants, and three
marine wipers. The newly appointed officers will be assigned
to various units citywide. Also on hand for the ceremony
will be FDNY Chief of Department Frank Cruthers, Chief of
Operations
Salvatore Cassano, as well as members of the newly promoted
officers’ families and companies.
