FDNY UNVEILS 2004 CALENDAR OF HEROES

Tomorrow, the New York City Fire Department and the Fire Safety Education Fund will unveil the highly anticipated 2004, New York City Fire Department Calendar of Heroes at the South Street Seaport. The calendar models will be arriving at the Seaport via the Historic FDNY Fireboat the John D. McKean. All 12 of the firefighters featured in this year’s calendar will be on hand to autograph copies of the calendar as well as to speak with the media.

Proceeds from the 2004 Calendar of Heroes will benefit the Fire Department’s Fire Safety Education Fund (FSEF). The Fund supports the mission of the Fire Department through a variety of programs including The Fire Zone, the mobile fire safety houses, Hot Dog –the fire safety dog—as well as many other programs that encourage fire safety among children and adults.
