DEPARTMENT’S TERRORISM
PREPARDNESS TASK FORCE IS CO-HOSTING A MULTI-AGENCY PRESENATION
ON SMALLPOX VACCINATION PROGRAMS
On Wednesday March 12, 2003 at 9:30 a.m., the New York City
Fire Department will be co-hosting a presentation along with
Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA), the New York
City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and the New
York City Office of Emergency Management on smallpox vaccination
programs. The topic will be United States Military and Israel’s
experiences with a pre-event smallpox vaccination program
and will be conducted by top military officials from the United
States and Israel. This multi-agency presentation will allow
city agencies an opportunity to come together and share strategies
as we confront challenges and move forward with new initiatives.

Operation, Military
Vaccine Agency of the U.S. Army Medical Command/Army

Israel, and
the former Surgeon General of the Israeli Defense
Forces. Members of the FDNY Terrorism Preparedness Taskforce,
Multi-agency personnel who are involved in the administration
