Memorial Day holds a special place in the hearts of New York City Firefighters and their families. It is an event held annually at the Firefighter’s Memorial on Riverside Drive in Manhattan. On this day, NYC Firefighters, family members and many others come and show their respect to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. This special day is dedicated to the honor of the fallen heroes who selflessly gave their lives in the line of duty. This year’s event attracted many notable dignitaries.
