FDNY Members Ring NASDAQ Opening Bell

FDNY firefighters join NYPD police officers and representatives from Tuesday's Children and the National 9/11 Memorial Museum to ring the NASDAQ opening bell.
Ten firefighters rang the opening bell of the NASDAQ on Sept. 10, along with representatives from the NYPD and two nonprofit organizations, Tuesday's Children and the National 9/11 Memorial Museum.
The members rang the bell in honor of the victims of Sept. 11, 2001.
The FDNY members included: Capt. Chris McArdle, Engine 280; Lt. Louis Demontreux, Engine 154; FF Pete Demontreux, Ladder 132; Tim Riches, Ladder 132 (his brother, FF Jim Riches from Engine 4, was killed on Sept. 11, 2001); FF Steve Baronian, Ladder 132 (his uncle Deputy Chief Edward Geraghty from Battalion 9, was killed on Sept. 11, 2001); FF Abel Gonzalez, Ladder 132; FF Steve Salzano, Ladder 132; FF Robert Lorenzo, Engine 280; FF Jarjeam Felton, Engine 280; and FF Dennis Moriarity, Engine 280.
