Manhattan-Bronx-Staten Island FDNY Holy Name Society Holds 85th Annual Jubilee
The Holy Name Society held a Higher Education Scholarship lottery, awarding scholarships to the children and grandchildren of its members.
The Manhattan-Bronx-Staten Island FDNY Holy Name Society held its 85th Annual Communion Mass and Breakfast in Manhattan on April 19, honoring fallen firefighters. New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan presided over the Communion Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Then the hundreds of worshipers marched in a parade to the New York Hilton for a breakfast honoring retired-Lt. Daniel Finegan of Engine 50 and Firefighter Ralph Esposito from Engine 80. They also held a drawing for the Higher Education Scholarship, which awards $1,000 scholarships to members’ children and grandchildren.
