ATTENTION EMTs and Paramedics:
FDNY Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are a part of the largest, most highly-trained emergency medical service in the world. They respond to more than 1.3 million emergencies each year - that's more than three calls a minute! They are on call to save lives - 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Follow all the instructions on the Notice of Examination. Make sure to complete the Education & Experience Test Paper, and the Foreign Education Fact Sheet (if applicable).
Properly completed application forms can be submitted by using two options:
- Online at the DCAS WEBSITE: Go to the Online Application System (OASys) at www.nyc.gov/examsforjobs and follow the onscreen instructions for electronically submitting your application and completing any required forms.
- In person: You may come to the DCAS Computerized Testing Centers to file for this examination online, submit a money order, or obtain a paper application for this examination.
The centers will have hours Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM through 5:00 PM:
