COMMUNITY MAYORS NICHOLAS DeGAETA AWARD (ESTAB. 1994)

Presented to an individual or group who demonstrates the commitment to excellence and persistence of duty, valued and exhibited by Mr. Nicholas DeGaeta, in meeting the Department's mission. This award was established by the New York State Community Mayors in honor Mr. DeGaeta, a retired Firefighter and highly decorated World War II veteran. Also awarded $200.
