Be Aware!

The most important thing you can do to aid in the fight against human trafficking is to be aware of possible warning signs.

If you are a victim of human trafficking or would like to report a tip regarding suspected human trafficking, call 911 in an emergency. If you have information regarding human trafficking which is not an emergency, call the NYPD Organized Crime Control Bureau 24 hour Hotline at 646-610-6610. If you would like more information about human trafficking or would like to learn about how you can help, call the toll-free National Hotline at 1-888-3737-888.

Spread the Word
Use any means you have to spread the word. Use email status, email messages, Facebook, Twitter, or any other program you are a member of to direct people to Let's End Human Trafficking, so they can learn about the issue of human trafficking.

Encourage communities and organizations in your area to integrate educational materials about human trafficking, which can be found in the "Professionals" and "Communities" sections of this site, into their organization or trainings. For example, ask your local hospital or school to promote educational material about human trafficking and to train their employees on what to do if they see it.

Write an article about human trafficking for your school or community newspaper.

The Let's End Human Trafficking campaign relies on in-kind support and private funds to meet its objectives and increase awareness. Donate to the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City to support this campaign.
