You will need your ticket or ticket number in order to pay the fine. You may pay the fine online, by mail, or in person. If you pay your ticket, you are admitting to the charge and you waive your right to appeal.

You may pay your ticket online using a credit card, debit card, or electronic check. You will need your ticket number and a service fee will be added if you choose to pay online.

Pay by Mail
Mail a check or money order for the full amount of the fine. Do not send cash. Write your ticket number on the front of the check, and make the check out to: Finance Commissioner, City of New York. Mail your check to:

You may pay in person, with a check, credit card, or money order, at any ECB location. You may also pay in person with cash, a check, credit card, or a money order at a Finance Business Center.
What Happens if I Don’t Pay?
If you do not pay, your case will go into default. ECB may file papers with the Civil Court of New York City and enter a judgment against you. The Department of Finance, the agency responsible for collecting money that is owed to the City, may also start collection activities.
