LYFE is a New York City Department of Education program whose mission is to foster a generational impact which positively influences the life outcomes of student parents and their children. LYFE provides free early-childhood education to children between the ages of 8 weeks and 3 years of age. LYFE supports student parents through academic guidance and social advocacy, helping student parents stay on track toward graduating from high school or completing their high school equivalency.

Princeton University Summer
Journalism Program

Princeton University is now accepting applications for its journalism program. Each summer, 25 high school students are selected to participate in the intensive 10-day seminar
on journalism. The program's goal is to diversify college and professional newsrooms by encouraging outstanding students from low-income backgrounds to pursue careers in journalism. All expenses, including students' travel costs to and from Princeton, are paid for by the program. Students who attend the program come from across the country.
